Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center scores Deficiency-free Survey two years in a row!

(May 4, 2012, Willoughby, Ohio)  Breckenridge Village not-for-profit retirement community is pleased to announce that its’ Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center, on the campus of Breckenridge Village, has achieved a deficiency free survey for the second time in two years!
The State Health Department conducted their surprise survey at the Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center last week.  Following three days of intense scrutiny of the existing licensed areas at FHRC and the recently constructed expansion project at Breckenridge Village – state inspectors determined that there were no deficiencies at The Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center!
“The pride, expertise and joy you bring with you every day to your job shows up time and time again” Executive Director David Schell said as he praised his staff.  “I am most proud to be associated with our staff and honored to serve as Executive Director,” Schell said.
The state also approved the opening of the new “Nell Rose Reil Rehabilitation Wing”, expanded nursing care rooms, Assisted Living and Memory Support wings.   
Breckenridge Village is one of 11 retirement communities owned and operated by OPRS Communities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) in Columbus. Since it is Groundhog Day, the buzz, of course, is whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow. In Ohio, Buckeye Chuck predicted a shortened winter, in direct conflict with Punxsutawney Phil, who thinks we’re in for at least six more weeks. No matter who is right, one thing is certain: we need to keep moving this winter to maintain a positive look on life.
